Central School Board

The Central School Board will meet Tuesday afternoon at 4pm in the High School Media Center. The Board may decide to rescind a recent contract extension for Superintendent Nick Trenkmap. On the Agenda is the item to rescind action taken on February 17th to extend the Superintendent contract for another year. Trenkamp was placed on administrative leave on March 30th in connection with comments made on Social Media.  Trenkamp responded to a Facebook post stating that Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy would ban big Pharma ads on TV. Trenkamp responded that "This would be awesome. Not only does Big Pharma peddle their drugs, they promote homosexuality and obesity." Trenkamp initially issued an apology stating the post misrepresents who he is as an educator. He then issued a second apology via Facebook in regards to the now deleted post
