Fayette County Authorities Arrest Three on Separate Warrants

On July 22nd, 2026, Colt Steggall (age 43) of Oelwein was taken into custody by a Fayette County Deputy due to an active arrest warrant for Failure to Comply with the original charge of Domestic Assault . Colt was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held on a $2,000.00 cash or surety bond.

On July 22nd, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kyle Lee Browne, age 51, on a valid Fayette County Warrant for violation of probation. Browne was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held on a no bond hold.

On July 22nd, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ashton Charles Swanson, age 22, on a valid Fayette County Warrant for violation of probation. Swanson was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held on a $5,000 cash/surety bond.
