Guttenberg City Council approves budget for upcoming fiscal year

The Guttenberg City Council approved an 8.4-million dollar budget for the 26-27 Fiscal year. The tax levy will decrease 12-cents, down to $15.91-per-thousand.

The Council approved Tree Trimming bids for the city, not to exceed 60-thousand.

They approved ordering a Dump Truck for fiscal year 2028 for 240-thousand dollar dollars. They also approved the purchase of a Water Truck for 43-thousand as part of the 26-27 Budget.

The Guttenberg Council also approved a Water Main Extension Project on part of Corner Street for 30-thousand. They also approved 30-thousand dollars worth of Waste Water Repair Work in the city.

The Council approved rezoning the former Masonic Temple Building site from Single Family Residential to General Office and Retail.
