Guttenberg City Council approves wage increases for city staff

The Guttenberg City Council approved a four-percent wage increase for city employees, some employees will receive a one-dollar an hour increase along with the four-percent.

The Council approved adding $175 for the City Manager for monthly vehicle and cell phone use and $100 for the Public Works Director for cell-phone use.

Colton Thorne was appointed as a Police Officer and Chris Baumfalk as Volunteer Firefighter.

The Council will also begin the process of selling nearly five acres of land on Acre Street.
