Guttenberg Council approves bid for Paving and Storm Sewer Project by the School

The Guttenberg City Council accepted a bid of nearly 338-thousand dollars for a Paving and Storm Sewer Project by the school. Work on the project is expected to begin in early April. The Council also approved an Engineering Agreement for the project, not to exceed 50-thousand dollars.

The Council set February 9th as the date for the public hearing for the proposed issuance of 1.3 million dollars worth of bonds to the Guttenberg Economic, Industrial, Development Committee. Funds will be used to pay off the Community Resource Building.

The Council will hold a Budget Work Session on February 2nd and will hold the tax hearings and public hearing on the budget on March 23rd.
