Minnesota Man Arrested in Connection with Several Rural Burglaries in Winnshiek County

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating several rural burglaries that have occurred over the past several days in northern Winneshiek County. The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office filed felony charges on Nathan Gossman (41) of Canton, Minnesota after he stole a truck from a rural farm residence in Winneshiek County. On Tuesday, September 1, Gossman was arrested on the Winneshiek County warrant and taken to the Fillmore County Jail. On Wednesday, September 2, Gossman waived extradition and was transported to the Winneshiek County Jail where he remains incarcerated.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office along with the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office are actively pursuing the additional suspects and following up on all leads.
