Minnesota man arrested on possession and other charges after traffic stop in Crawford County

Town of Freeman, Wis. - On Saturday, January 24th, 2026, at approximately 11:56 p.m., Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that the Crawford County Sheriff's Office initiated a traffic stop on vehicle for traveling completely in the wrong lane on WI-STH 35 near WI-STH 82. The operater of the vehicle was identified as Clyde Greybull (66) of Waite Park, Minnesota.
Greybull exhibited signs of impairment and refused to perform standardized field sobriety testing. Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle ensued; methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered.
Greybull was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of 8th offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, Greybull was cited for operating left of center, operating without a valid driver's license, failure to wear seatbelt, no automobile insurance, and non-registration of automobile. All individual(s) are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
