Monona City Council approves street repair work

The Monona City Council approved repair work on Iowa Street from Main to Hill Street. The surface of the street was damaged by a water issue. Repairs will total 144-thousand.
The Council re-approved a Street Budget for repair work. It includes nearly 18-thousand dollars of crack filling work and nearly 149-thousand dollars for blacktop work on part of West and Page Street on the south side of Monona.
They approved the purchase of a 2022 Dump Truck for 28-thousand with trade-in.
Brian Putnam was appointed to the Mae Reusser Board and Amber Hendricks to the Pool Board.
