No injuries reported in two-vehicle accident near Arlington

On 3-12-26, at approximately 1:50PM, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a report of an accident at the address of 7009 J Ave Arlington IA.  During an investigation it was found that Adam Joseph Recker, 35 of Arlington, was stopped on the side of the roadway getting mail and pulled back onto the roadway when a southbound recycling truck on J Avenue collided with Recker.  Driver of southbound vehicle was identified as Jordan Jeffrey Euans, 32 of Maynard.  It was additionally found that Recker's driving status was suspended through Iowa.   Recker was cited and released for driving while suspended.   During the investigation, no injuries were reported.  Damage to Recker's 2021 Subaru Crosstrek was estimated at $4,000, and damage to the truck Euans was operating was non-reportable.
