Oelwein Man Arrested on Clayton County Warrants and an Oelwein Woman Charged After Traffic Stop

At 12:26pm on July 28, 2026, Oelwein Police arrested Cyle Bruce Moser, 57, of Oelwein, on two Clayton County warrants.  The first warrant was on original charges of Operating While Intoxicated (1st Offense) - Serious Misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of a Prescription Drug - Serious Misdemeanor.  The second warrant was on an original charge of Failure to Appear for Contempt Hearing.  This arrest was made in the 10 block of 1st St SW.

At 5:29pm on July 28, 2026, Oelwein Police arrested Cheryl Ann Stroud, 60, of Oelwein, following a traffic stop near the intersection of Hwy 281 and Hwy 150.  Stroud was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Violation of Probation.
