Oelwein Woman Faces Charge After Traffic Stop in Fayette County

On 9-19-26, at approximately 9:40 PM, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office took a 911 call of a possible intoxicated driver travelling from Oelwein to Maynard.  Fayette County Deputies located the vehicle in Maynard IA.  After an investigation, Lisa Marie Gruver, 39 of Oelwein, was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1^st Offense, a serous misdemeanor.  Gruver was taken into custody and transported to Fayette County Jail where she awaited initial appearance.
