Sunday Morning Flood Updates

Flood warning now in effect until late tonight for the Turkey River at Elkader. At 5:45 am Sunday the stage was 13.9 feet. The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 15.6 feet. The River is expected to fall below flood stage this afternoon.

Flood warning continues for the Turkey River at Garber until Monday Afternoon. At 5:15am Sunday the stage was 22.2 feet. The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 22.3 feet. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

Flood warning remains in effect until 9:15am Sunday for southwestern Clayton county along the Volga River.
