Postville Man Arrested Following Traffic Stop in Fayette County

On September 13, at approximately 2:31 AM, a Fayette County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violations. During the course of the investigation, the driver was identified as 18-year-old Emilio Angel Salgado Maldonado of Postville, Iowa. It was determined that Maldonado’s driving privileges were barred and suspended in the State of Iowa. Maldonado was taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail. He was later released on an unsecured bond.
