The Prairie du Chien School Board continued discussion on a building consolidation plan. The District is moving forward with the closing of the B-A Kennedy School, effective with the 26-27 school year. The Board will release the plan for what classes and where the location will be with the consolidation at the February meeting.

The Board accepted the preliminary early retirement requests for Andy Banasik as District Administrator/High School Principal/Athletic Director, Michele O’Brian as Librarian, Marge Johnson as High School English Teacher, Brek Schneider as High School Alternative Teacher, , Jill Ahrens as Choir/Music Teacher, Stewart Sloaman as Middle School Band and Elementary Teacher and Karen Welter as Middle School Special Education Teacher.

The Board accepted the resignation of Kylie Roesch as Teacher’s Aide and hired Jackson Moran as Middle School Assistant Track Coach.

The Board also set April 7th as the date for a Referendum Electon to allow the District to exceed the revenue limit by 975-thousand per year for three years.
