Prairie du Chien City Council accepts bid for the Public Safety Center Project

The Prairie du Chien City Council accepted a 10.1-million dollar bid for the Public Safety Center Project. The city received a federal grant totaling 4.95-million for the project. The city will borrow funds for the remaining cost of the project in June with work expected to start in August.
The Council also honored Former Mayor Dave Hemmer for his 26-years of dedicated public service work in the Community.
