The Prairie du Chien City Council approved the purchase of a land sale to BNSF Railroad. The land is located by the City Dog Park and will be used as a new access road location for the railroad. The area of land was sold for an estimated 110-thousand dollars.
The Council approved plans for the Rotary Club to locate a stage near the Firemans Shelter on Saint Feriole Island. The Rotary Club has raised funds for the project.
The Council received word that 25-thousand dollars has been raised to install new Starter Blocks at the Charles Waucota Aquatic Park.
