Ramona "Mona" Mae Perrinjacquet of Manchester

Ramona “Mona” Mae Perrinjaquet, 95, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood. She was born on February 21, 1931 at home on the farm near Greeley, the daughter of Elmer and Evangeline (Ward) Kuhlman. Ramona graduated from Greeley High School in 1948.

On March 16, 1950, Ramona was united in marriage to Eugene Perrinjaquet at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Two children were born to this union. The couple owned and operated their own dairy farm, milking cows for over 52 years. The couple retired from farming and moved to Manchester in 1997. She also worked many years at A&H Grocery and Moser’s Market, both in Edgewood, where her specialty was putting together Christmas fruit baskets.

Ramona was a member of the Edgewood Women’s Club and Garden Club. She was also a longtime member of the Edgewood Bible Church, and after moving to Manchester, became a member at the Community Congregational Church. She volunteered for many years at the Camp Courageous Garage Sale and the Rec Center in Manchester. Ramona cherished her family and loved spending time with them.

Survivors include her children, Brad (Elaine) Perrinjaquet of Edgewood and Denise (Randy) Stone of Manchester; five grandchildren, Katie (Adam) Hageman, Emily (Matt) Scherbring, Elizabeth (Isaac) Davis, Rob (Tiffany) Perrinjaquet, and Rachael (Kei) Engel; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Virginia Waco of Pacific Palisades, California; brother-in-law, William Meisner of Anamosa; and several nieces and nephews.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene in 2017; sisters, Delores Schabacker and Ruth Duncan; brother, Ward Kuhlman; and son-in-law, Jim Brooks.
