Strawberry Point man injured in motorcycle accident in Clayton County

A Strawberry Point man was injured in a motorcycle accident in Clayton County. 48-year old Chip James Schuldt was injured in the accident. The Iowa State Patrol reports the accident happened on June 25th at 3:46pm on Grandview Road east of Grandview Lane. Schuldt was operating a 2018 Harley Divadison and was heading northwestbound around a curve, he lost control and the vehicle entered the ditch. Schuldt was transported to MercyOne in Elkader for treatment of injuries. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, Elkader Ambulance, and Elkport/Garber First Responders.
