Three people injured in a two-vehicle accident in Fayette County.

The Iowa State Patrol reports that three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Fayette County. The accident occurred on May 6th at 2:30pm. 16-year old Landon Jaxon Graber of Stanley was operating a 2011 Ford Fusion. Graber attempted to make a left turn onto I Avenue from Highway 3 and pulled in front of a 2025 Chevrolet 1500 operated by 45-year old Michael Reed Lockie of New Hampton. Graber was using his electronic communication device at the time of the accident. Graber and two passengers, 11-year old Karson Alan Graber of Stanley and 16-year old Edward James Keiffert of Oelwein were injured in the accident and taken to MercyOne in Oelwein for treatment. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by Stanley Fire and Rescue, Aurora Fire and First Responders and Mercy Ambulances.
