Two arrested on Possession of Meth and other charges after traffic stop in Crawford County

Town of Scott, Wis. - On Thursday, February 26th, 2026, at approximately 2:48 a.m., Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that the Crawford County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on County Road W. The driver was identified as Matthew Murray (56) and his passenger was identified as Kelly Lamb (54), both of La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle ensued; methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia was discovered.

Murray was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance (2nd Offense), possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, Murray was cited for driving with an expired driver's license. Lamb was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. All individual(s) are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
