Two people arrested on meth and other charges after incident in Arlington

On December 15th, 2025, at approximately 9:02 pm, Fayette County Deputies investigated a Violation of a No-Contact Order at 859 High St. Arlington. During the investigation, a search warrant was later executed, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Eric William Halverson age 59 of Arlington. Halverson is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense – Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense – Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Violation of a No-Contact Order – Contempt. Deputies also arrested Janel Kay Helfter age 50 of Fayette for Violation of a No-Contact Order - Contempt. This is the second narcotics related search warrant at Mr. Halverson’s residence in the last month. On November 27th,2025, Eric Halverson was arrested for the Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense – Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense – Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. These incidents remain under investigation.
