Two people injured in Car-Farm Tractor Accident in Grant County.

Car vs Farm Tractor 

On 1/13/26, at 5:20pm, the Grant County Sheriff's Office was notified of a car vs. farm tractor rollover crash, on Hwy 35/61, near Badgerland Auto, in Paris Township. Along with Grant County Sheriff Deputies, Dickeyville EMS, Dickeyville Fire Department, Potosi EMS, and Jamestown First Responders were dispatched to the scene. 

When deputies arrived, they learned Shawn Dietzel, 28, of Cuba City, was operating an International 886 farm tractor northbound on Hwy 35/61s. At the same time, Gary Ledbury, 74, of Potosi, was also traveling northbound in his 2007 Chevrolet Aveo. Ledbury did not see the tractor in front of him, and his vehicle collided with the rear end of the tractor, causing the tractor to roll into the ditch and onto it's side. Both Dietzel and Ledbury were transported to hospitals due to injuries sustained during the crash.  

This crash remains under investigation.
