Sullivan is a former US Navy submarine Petty Officer and retired law enforcement officer. He has previously served as Flotilla Vice Commander, Flotilla Commander, and is also the Flotilla Training and Public Affairs Staff Officer.

Tiller is a retired US Army Major and retired owner/operator of Tiller Furniture in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She has completed her two years as Flotilla Commander.
The Commander and Vice Commander are elected positions with term limits of two consecutive years.

Sullivan said, “The major challenge facing the Flotilla for 2026 is recruitment. The US Coast Guard Auxiliary is the all-volunteer civilian component of the United States Coast Guard. We rely on dedicated volunteers who are active and willing to work and train hard to provide much needed education and safety services to the boating public.
