(Crawford County, WI) -- Low water levels on the Mississippi River are leading to changes in service on the Lansing Ferry. Operators of the ferry -- connecting Crawford County, Wisconsin with Lansing, Iowa -- are now limiting the number of vehicles the boat can carry due to safety concerns. Normally, the ferry carries as many as twelve vehicles per trip but that number is being cut to a capacity of nine while river levels are low.
