Winneshiek County Authorities release information on accident and three arrest incidents

A Dyersville man escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident in Winneshiek County. The accident occurred on February 24th at 4:37pm. 60-year old Kenton Wayne Lenertz was operating a 2026 Dodge Ram southbound on 303rd Avenue, south of County Road B-16. The vehicle approached a sharp corner on the right and was unable to negotiate the corner due to speed. The vehicle was ice and snow covered at the time and Lenertz was also towing a heavy load on a trailer. The vehicle jacknifed with the trailer entering the south ditch. No injuries reported and damage totaled 10-thousand dollars.
