Winneshiek County Authorities release information on injury accident and two arrest incidents

A Minnesota man was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Winneshiek County. 51-year old Aaron Paul Porvaznik of Woodbuy, Minnesota was injured in the accident. Authorities report the accident happened on June 13th at 12:50pm on County Road A-15. 28-year old Dylan Mike Mueller of Manley was operating a 2021 Chevrolet K3500. Mueller stopped, then proceeded through the intersection and did not see a 2013 Ford F150 operated by Poraznik and ran into the side of the vehicle. Poraznik had to be freed from the vehicle. He was then taken by WinMed Ambulance to the WinMed Emergency Room. Damage totaled 30-thousand dollars. Mueller was charged with Failure to Yield Upon Entering a Through Highway.

Incident Details: Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance that had occurred at a residence on Meldon Street in Calmar. Subsequently, Kasey Thompson was arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail for Aggravated Misdemeanor Child Endangerment and Serious Misdemeanor Domestic Abuse Assault – Injury.

Incident/Charge: Aggravated Misdemeanor Operating While Under the Influence 2nd Offense

Location: Quarry Hill Road, Decorah, Iowa

Person: Christian Krambeer

Address: Decorah, Iowa

Age: 25

Incident Details: The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident on Quarry Hill Road near Decorah. Subsequently, the driver, Christian Krambeer, was arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for aggravated misdemeanor operating while under the influence 2nd offense.
