Winneshiek County Authorities Release information on Two Injury Accidents and Two arre

A Calmar teen was injured in a two-vehicle accident involving a Heavy Equipment Maintenance vehicle in Winneshiek County. 16-year old Ethin Harvey Timp was injured in the accident. The accident occurred on July 16th at 7:20am on Valdres Road. Timp was operating a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville and crested a hill and did not have time to stop or avoid colliding with a 2015 Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Maintenance vehicle operated by 25-year old Breckin Thomas Tigges of Calmar. Timp attempted to swerve but collided with the blade on the front. Timp was taken by private vehicle to WinMed Emergency Medical Center. The Timp vehicle received 10-thousand dollars in damage and Tigges was charged with Driving On The Wrong Side of a Two-Way Highway.
A West Union woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Winneshiek County. 82-year old Wanita Geneva Pape was injured in the accident. The accident occurred on July 16th at 8:28am. 57-year old Todd Alan Pape of West Union was operating a 2016 Ford Escape and was behind a dump truck which was decelerating and signaling it was going to turn. Pape began slowing down when he was rear-ended by a 2015 Ford Edge operated by 16-year old Jocelynn Marie Desloover of Fort Atkinson. Wanita Pape was taken by ambulance to the WinnMed Emergency Center for treatment of injuries. Damage totaled 13-thousand dollars. Desloover was charged with Following Too Close.
