(Clear Lake, IA) -- One teen is dead and another teen is in serious condition after a watercraft collision on Clear Lake in Northern Iowa. The Department of Natural Resources says two personal watercrafts carrying five people crashed the evening of July 4 near the MacIntosh Woods State Park boat ramp. A 14-year-old Dyersville girl died from her injuries. A 15-year-old girl from Mason City was transferred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in serious condition. Three others, a woman and two children from South Carolina, were released from a local hospital the same day. The DNR is still investigating, but has ruled out impairment as a factor in the crash.
