A Rural Holy Cross Girl is named the 2026 Clayton County Fair Queen

A rural Holy Cross Girl has been crowned the 2026 Clayton County Fair Queen.  Avery Dean is the daughter of Nick and Catie Dean of Holy Cross.  Dean was crowned at the Clayton County Fair Royalty Pageant on Wednesday night.  The Princess is Rachel Keehner, the 16 year old daughter of Dan & Darla Keehner of Monona. The Clayton County King is Evan Claycamp, the 16-year old son of Jon and Savanna Claycamp of Guttenberg. Dean was also named the People's Choice Winner. Best Interview was presented to Abigail Schilling is the 17 year old daughter of Bob and Peggy Schilling of Colesburg. Best Dressed was Serena Groth is the 16 year old daughter of Jared and Jody Groth of Garber.
