Adelbert Dale Whittle of Monona

Adelbert Dale Whittle, 99, of Monona, Iowa died Friday, May 15, 2026 at Walnut Ridge, Clive, Iowa.

Per their request, a memorial mass and celebration of life for both Butch and Darlene will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Monona, Iowa with Rev. Martin Coolidge as the Celebrant. There will also be a visitation one hour before mass from 10 – 11 am at the church on Thursday.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Monona, Iowa with Military Rites.  His wife, Darlene Whittle will also be laid to rest at this time.

Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monona, Iowa is helping the family with the arrangements.
