Allamakee County Authorities release information on Off-Road Vehicle Accident

On May 22, 2026 at approximately 5:45 p.m., the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office received a  report of a single Off Road Vehicle Accident. 

A Can Am Off Road Vehicle was traveling south bound on Scott Hollow Road in rural  Allamakee County. The driver lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle rolled onto the driver’s side, pinning the male driver under the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was the only occupant  at the time of the accident.  

The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The name of the driver is being withheld at  this time, pending notification of family 

Assisting at the scene were the MFL Ambulance Service, Monona Fire Department, Clayton  County Sheriff’s Office, Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office and Allamakee County Medical  Examiner and Danny Mac’s Towing. 

The accident remains under investigation by the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office.
