Fayette County Authorities arrest Parkersburg man on three warrants and release information on a number accident

On 5-26-26 at approximately 12:05 p.m. The Fayette County Sheriff's Office arrested Adam D. Nichols, 36 of Parkersburg on three valid Fayette County arrest warrants. THE first warrant was for careless driving, and bond was set in the amount of $300.00 unsecured with 10% cash deposit. Warrant two was for Failure to maintain control and bond was set in the amount of $300.00 unsecured with 10% acceptable. Warrant three was for striking Fixtures upon a highway and bond was set in the amount of $300.00 unsecured with 10% cash deposit. Nichols was booked into the Fayette County Jail and later posted bond and was given a promise to appear at a later date.
On 5-22-26 at approximately 10:35 a.m. the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a report of a car vs. deer accident on W Ave. north of 280th St. Upon further investigation the driver of the Ford transit van, James N. Stable, 33 of Cedar Rapids was traveling north when a deer ran into the roadway and struck the front of the van. The van sustained approximately $5000.00 damage, and no one was injured in the accident.
