Arlington man injured after his van strikes two horses

On March 21st, 2026, at approximately 04:37 a.m. Fayette County Deputies were dispatched to the area of 90^th St. and Eisenhower in reference to a van versus horse accident. Upon investigating, it was learned that Kurt A. Yearous age, 56 of Arlington was traveling eastbound on Eisenhower in his 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan when he struck two horses, which were in the traveled portion of the roadway. The Dodge Grand Caravan was deemed a total loss and Yearous was transported via ambulance to the hospital with suspected injuries. The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Arlington Fire and E.M.S. The accident remains under investigation.
