Arrest made after search warrant in Decorah; two arrested after traffic stop; Minnesota woman arrested on warrant

Incident/Charge: Search Warrant 

Location: 2458 Cedar Valley Road, Decorah, Iowa

Incident Details: Following an investigation by the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office, on April 2, 2026, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Cedar Valley Road, Decorah. Subsequently, Jacob Gossage (29) was arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail for D Felony Failure to Affix Drug Stamp, Serious Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense and Simple Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


A short time later, Curtis Wilkins (26), who lives at 2458 Cedar Valley Road came to the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office to speak with a deputy. Subsequently, Curtis Wilkin was arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail for Serious Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance and Simple Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Age: 34Incident Details: The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration. The driver, Kody Letts, had a suspended Iowa driver’s license. The passenger, Rueben Dejesus, gave a false identity to deputies. Winneshiek County K9 Drago was requested and gave a positive indication, and a probable cause search was conducted. 

Kody Letts was arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Jail and charged with: 

  • Aggravated Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd or subsequent

  • Simple Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

  • Driving While License Suspended

  • Fraudulent Use of Registration

  • Failure to Provide Use of Financial Liability

Rueben Dejesus was arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Jail and charged with: 

  • D Felony Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 

  • Serious Misdemeanor Person Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons

  • Simple Misdemeanor Providing False Identification Information

  • Simple Misdemeanor Interference with Official Acts

Incident/Charge: Arrest warrant for FAILURE TO PROVIDE FINGERPRINTS AS ORDERED

Age: 26  

Incident details: HALEY HOFNER turned herself in and was arrested and booked into the  Winneshiek County Jail on an arrest warrant for FAILURE TO PROVIDE FINGERPRINTS AS  ORDERED.
