Clayton County Supervisors Table Public Hearing Date for Data Center Ordinances

The Clayton County Board of Supervisors tabled setting a pubic hearing date for ordinances involving Data Centers. The Supervisors have received two proposals from the Zoning Commission. One would be to make Data Centers prohibitive and the second option would involve regulations. The Supervisors will continue to review the proposed ordinances. They will have the option of approving the ordinance or send it back to the Zoning Commission. The county currently has a moratorium on the issue in effect until December, which could be extended, if needed.
