Clayton Ridge School Board accepts resignation of Superintendent and makes hires

The Clayton Ridge School Board accepted the resignation of Superintendent Shane Wahls effective at the end of the School Year. Wahls is a long-time Administrator with Clayton Ridge, including the last several years as Superintendent.
The Board hired Aydan Millard as Custodian, Cynthia Lancial as Middle School Teacher. The Board hired Kelsey Bries, Amyra Millard and Audrey Ostrander as Assistant Softball Coach. Kylie Bolsiner and Kyle Burns were hired as Junior High Football Coaches.

2. Approved a HS Girl's Soccer sharing agreement with Edgewood-Colesburg CSD for the 2025-26 school year.
Work Session
The Board held a Work Session to continue reviewing Superintendent search proposals received. Board discussion was held regarding the pros and cons of both proposals received.

Tammi Drawbaugh from the Iowa Association of School Boards led the Board through a discussion regarding the use of a firm for an upcoming Superintendent search. Further discussion was held to begin reviewing Superintendent search proposals received.
