Waukon Police release information on Scam Incident

The Allamakee County Clerk of Court has reached out to report that a citizen notified their office of a call in which the scammer informed them that they failed to respond to jury duty. The scammer told the citizen that they were marked as "did not respond". The Clerk of Court reminds the public that they make notice through USPS mail.

This is a reminder to contact the business, organization, or person by calling them back by phone if you have questions or concerns about the validity of a call. DO NOT use phone numbers provided by the potential scammer but instead look up the number that you are calling.
