Delaware County Authorities release information on a number of arrest incidents

MEDIA RELEASE:

On Monday, January 26, 2026, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Trevor Dylan Lewis, 31, of Ryan, on an active Benton County arrest warrant. Lewis was transported and held at the Delaware County Jail until a Benton County Sheriff’s Office Deputy transported him to their facility.

On Thursday, January 29, 2026, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Michael Jay Whalen, 50, of Delhi, on an active arrest warrant for Violation of Probation.

On Friday, January 30, 2026, at approximately 12:10 AM, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Eugene Robert Rickels, 68, of Hopkinton, and Ruby Geneva Mann, 52, of Hopkinton. Rickels was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance- 3rd or Subsequent (Class D Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor). Rickels also received citations for Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability, Driving Under Suspension, and Driving While License Suspended. Mann was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor). These arrests were made following a traffic stop near the intersection of Locust Street and First Street in Hopkinton.

On Friday, January 30, 2026, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Tyler Lee Burlage, 41, of Lemont, IL, on an active arrest warrant for Violation of a Domestic No Contact Order (Simple Misdemeanor) and three counts of Contempt- Violation of No Contact / Protective Order (Simple Misdemeanor).

On Friday, January 30, 2026, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office arrested Andrew Wayne Dimmitt, 46, of Cedar Rapids, on an active arrest warrant for Violation of Probation and Operating While Under the Influence- 2nd Offense (Aggravated Misdemeanor). The Operating While Under the Influence Warrant stemmed from a traffic stop on October 25, 2025. Dimmitt was taken into custody from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.

MEDIA RELEASE:

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, at approximately 2:00 AM, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Danny Lee Ingles, 57, of Edgewood. Ingles was charged with Operating While Under the Influence- 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor), and Ingles received a citation for Driving Under Suspension. This arrest was made following a traffic stop on 300th Ave between Petersburg and Colesburg.

On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at approximately 9:30 PM, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Russell Lee Wickman, 46. Wickman was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine - 3rd or Subsequent (Class D Felony), Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana – 3rd or Subsequent (Aggravated Misdemeanor), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor), Interference with Official Acts (Simple Misdemeanor), and Violation of a No Contact Order – Domestic (Simple Misdemeanor).
