Elkader City Council approves entering into Loan Agreement for new Ambulance

The Elkader City Council approved entering into a General Obligation Acquisition Loan Agreement. It involves borrowing an estimated 247-thousand dollars towards the purchase of a new ambulance. The new unit is expected to arrive early next year.

The Council also approved the disposition of the Fire Departments 1989 Freightliner(uni-mog vehicle) for 43-thousand-four hundred dollars.
