Fayette County Authorities release information on four Warrant Arrests and a Minor Accident

On October 2nd, 2026, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took Bradley James Bost (age 23) into custody for active arrest warrants. The warrants were for Voluntary Absence from Custody and Violation of Probation, both No Bond Holds. Bradley was transported from St. Louis, MO to the Fayette County Jail to be held.

 

On October 2, 2026, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested Leah Michelle Burns, age 44 of Decorah, on a valid Fayette County Warrant for Voluntary Absence from Custody (Serious Misdemeanor). Burns was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail where she is being held on a $2000 cash only bond and awaits an initial appearance from a Magistrate Judge. The Fayette  County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office.

 

On October 2, 2026, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested Bryan Paul Butterfield, age 40 of West Union, on a valid Fayette County Warrant for Violation of a No Contact Order (Simple Misdemeanor). Butterfield was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail where he is being held on a $300 cash only bond and awaits an initial appearance from a Magistrate Judge.

 

On October 4th, a Fayette County deputy arrested Brian Buhr on two valid Fayette County Warrants for violation of probation with a no bond hold, and voluntary absence from custody with a $1,000 cash bond. Buhr was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held.

 

On October 5th, a Deputy responded to a car/deer accident near the intersection of 150th st and N Ave. It was learned that Onelson Chery, of Waterloo, was driving east bound on 150th when he struck a deer crossing the road. The vehicle received disabling damage. No injuries were reported.
