Guttenberg Girl to be crowned new Dairy Princess as Royalty Announced for the Clayton County Dairy Banquet on April 10th

Clayton County Dairy Banquet Set for April 10
Clayton County’s annual Dairy Banquet will be held Friday night, April 10, at Johnson’s Reception Hall in Elkader. Tickets will be available at the door. Admission is $20 for ages 11 and older, $10 for children ages 5–10, and children under 5 are free.
The meal will be served from 7:00–8:30 p.m., followed by the awards program beginning at 8:00 p.m. The evening will conclude with the crowning of the new dairy royalty.
The menu for the banquet includes roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken alfredo, cheesy California blend vegetables, coleslaw, cottage cheese, cheese curds, a roll, brownie, ice cream, and milk.
County dairy awards for production and quality will be presented, along with the Young, Distinguished, and Senior Dairy Producer Awards. The Appreciation Award and the Dairy Best Award will also be announced.
This year, one candidate is running for Dairy Princess and one for Little Miss Squirt.
2026 Dairy Princess Candidate
Zoie Dietrich is the candidate for the 2026 Dairy Princess title. Zoie, 16, is the daughter of Tessa and Chris Dietrich of Guttenberg. She is a sophomore at Clayton Ridge High School and works at Anderegg Farms, where she helps milk 200 Holsteins and assists with other farm responsibilities.
In school, Zoie is active in FFA and enjoys agricultural, science, and art classes. Her hobbies include barrel racing, riding horses, and showing dairy heifers. Zoie plans to attend farrier school and become a horse trainer. She is sponsored by Anderegg Farms, LLC.

2026 Little Miss Squirt Candidate
Alyvia Postal is the candidate for 2026 Little Miss Squirt. Alyvia, 9, is the daughter of Lainey German and Ryan Postal. She is a 4th grader at Clayton Ridge Elementary School and comes from a family with a strong history in the dairy industry.
Her favorite breed is the Milking Shorthorn—especially the roan-colored ones. In school, Alyvia enjoys reading and art class. Her hobbies include drawing, reading, rollerblading, riding her hoverboard, and showing calves. Alyvia is sponsored by Meyer Collision and Service Center.
