Iowa State Patrol releases name of Colesburg woman injured after being hit by an SUV

A Colesburg woman was injured when she was ran over by a 2004 Toyota Highlander in the front yard of residence on South Franklin Street in Colesburg Thursday afternoon (7/9). 59-year old Paige Beasly was injured in the accident. The Iowa State Patrol says a 14 year old male was operating the vehicle. His name is being withheld due to his age. Beasly was transported to Regional Medical Center in Manchester and then airlifted to the University of Iowa with serious injuries. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Colesburg Ambulance and Earlville Ambulance.
