The Marquette City Council set June 10th for a public hearing on an Urban Renewal Plan. The plan involves the resurfacing of Mechanic Street and will use Tax Increment Finance Funds to pay for it. The bid for the Mechanic Street project was awarded at a cost of 61-thousand.
The Board approved paving projects for Emma Big Bear Drive and Pleasant Ridge Road at a cost of 10-thousand.
Deidre Vick-Froelich and Eleanore Soulli were hired for Part-Time Depot Seasonal positions and Mike Werges for Part-Time Public Works.
