Mason City woman arrested after traffic stop in Garnavillo

On Thursday, June 18^th, 2026, at approximately 11:18 p.m., a Garnavillo police officer conducted a routine traffic stop at Main Street and Industrial Street in Garnavillo for an equipment violation. An investigation determined that the female driver did not have a valid license, and furthermore, was suspended indefinitely with multiple withdrawals for violating a restricted license and non-payment of Iowa fines. Erica MacPherson, 36, of Mason City, Iowa, was arrested and transported to the Clayton County Jail where she was held for an initial appearance on the charge of Driving While License Suspended.
