MFL MarMac School Board approves three hires and accepts three resignations

The MFL MarMac School Board approved the hiring of Chelsie White as Middle School Teacher. Gregg Wolff was hired as Custodian and Emme Schroeder as Football Cheer Coach.

The Board accepted the resignation of Tracy Decker as Middle School Teacher, Paul Gordon as Summer Weight Supervisor and Kelli Saxe as Football Cheer Coach.

Special Meeting – Budget Public Meeting Minutes

March 31, 2026

The MFL MarMac Community School District held a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors on March 31, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Monona Schoolhouse.

President, Dr. Jonathon Moser, called the Budget Public Hearing (Iowa Code 24.2A) to order at 6:00 p.m. Members present at roll call were Roberta Hass, Aaron Schroeder, Danielle Schlake, Tonya Meyer, and Marti Post. Josh Grau was absent. Also present were Superintendent, Tim Dugger, and Board Secretary, Karla Hanson.

Mr. Dugger reviewed the district’s financials and proposed budget for fiscal year 2027. Dr. Moser opened the Public Hearing at 6:10 p.m.. No public comments were made and Dr. Moser closed the open comments time at 6:11 p.m. Motion by Roberta Hass, seconded by Tonya Meyer, to adjourn the Budget Public Meeting.

Dr. Moser opened the Special Meeting at 6:12 p.m.

Motion by Marti Post, seconded by Danielle Schlake to approve the following hires and resignations:

Contracts: Chelsie White, MS Teacher

  Greg Wolff, Custodian

Emme Schroeder, Football Cheer Coach

Resignations: Tracy Decker, MS Teacher

Paul Gordon, Summer Weight Room Supervisor

Kelli Saxe, Football Cheer Coach

Aaron Schroeder, abstained. Motion carried unanimously.

Dr. Moser closed the Special Meeting at 6:15 p.m.

At 6:16 p.m., the Board went into exempt session (Iowa Code 20.17(3)) to discuss the bargaining strategies. Dr. Moser closed the exempt session at 6:16 p.m.

The next regular meeting will be held on April 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the McGregor Center Library.
