Scouting America's Northeast Iowa Council Awards Community Volunteer Stand-outs

(Dubuque, IA.) – March 28, 2026 – The Northeast Iowa Council is proud to recognize its outstanding volunteers from 2025! The Council held its Scouter Appreciation Dinner at the Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque, Iowa on March 28. This event recognizes all the volunteer efforts provided by the Northeast Iowa Council’s more than 500 registered volunteers from 2025.
The Council would like to say thank you for the dedication from all our volunteers, and also highlight these special award winners:
Silver Beaver Recipient:
Amy Russell (Waukon, IA) was awarded with the Silver Beaver Award. This is the highest award given by a council to volunteers in Scouting America. The Silver Beaver is awarded to those who have given much self-sacrifice, dedication, and hard work over many years of service to the Scouting program and their community.
