The Monona City Council received an update on the proposed Center Street Improvement Project. Bids for the project are expected to be let in March with work planned for late summer.

The Council set March 16th as the date for the public hearing on the Proposed Tax Levy which is expected to remain nearly the same as this year.

The Council did not make changes to the Golf Cart Ordinance. Golf carts can only be used by permit for parades and festivals.

The Council also is planning for the 26/27 Payroll Budget with $1 an hour increases for the Police Department and Administration positions. Public workers would see $1.50 an hour increases, and raises for the Library positions ranging from 50-cents to $1.50 per-hour.
