Monona City Council Sets Public Hearing Date for Purchase of the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant Property

The Monona City Council set August 3^rd as the date for the public hearing for the purchase of the old Wastewater Treatment Plant property. The property was sold a number of years ago and no development has taken place so the city is interested in purchasing the property back.

The Council has also been approached by an interested party to purchase part of the wooded area of the Butterfly Trail and the city also will put up property located at 111 West Center Street for sale.
