Nevada, Iowa man arrested in connection with Operation Castle Investigation in Manchester

In conjunction with Operation Castle, Manchester’s undercover officer continues operations to make another arrest. On January 5th, 2026, Michael Patrick Wiezorek (52 of Nevada, IA) set up a meet with an undercover officer. For the last few weeks, Wiezorek groomed and sent illicit messages to the undercover officer, finally promoting to meet in person for sexual activity. Wiezorek traveled from Nevada Iowa, secured a hotel room, and traveled to the meet up location with the intent to have sexual activity with a minor.

Manchester Officers cleansed the meetup area and took Wiezorek into custody without any incident. This marks more arrests being made in conjunction with the previous operation.

Officers are still evaluating cases and working towards more arrests. Please note, this continues to prove that under certain circumstances, predators still lurk online.
