No injuries reported in one-vehicle accident in Delaware County

A Quasqueton man escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident in Delaware County. 69-year old Larry Dean Hicks was operating a 2013 Dodge Journey on 145th Avenue on May 2nd at 11:34am. Hicks was traveling northeast around a left curve when the vehicle caught the gravel. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a sign post, continued through the ditch and through the barb wire fence. Hicks drove in the field before it reached a field driveway. Damage totaled six-thousand dollars.
